Hi, quick question: Greg K-H said[0] that drivers/staging/*/TODO help is appreciated, and that's where I want to start from. I already submitted patches, based on Linus Torvalds master, but I guess this is not really how to do it? So where to base my patches on? I just fetched the branches from Greg K-H, but there are several... should I base my patches upon his master branch from his staging repository on kernel.org[1] or somewhere else? It depends on what code you want to modify. If you are working on staging stuff, work off of my staging-next branch in the staging.git tree. Or you can work off of linux-next, that will have that branch included in it. If you have any questions about this, just let me know. Hope this helps, greg k-h
