Must we close serial telnet connection for kgdb to work ?

Hello, I've successfuly managed to work with kgdb on linux: 3.14.25 But it seems that I must close the serial connection (which uses also for stdout print), in order for the kgdb to manage its communication ? I can use telnet instead, but still I thought that kgdb can handle both the kgdb connection and the logging on same serial. Can't kgdb do both ? Thanks, Ran
