Hi,
I submitted a set of patches to the driverdevel list for the staging drivers, but did not send the patches to Greg K-H, because I was sure there were things to fix up. Now the patchset got reviewed and fixed up, I submitted the 3rd version to the list. But I did not send the patches to Greg K-H himself. Should I re-submit the patches to him (and maybe even the kernel ML)?
Always use the scripts/get_maintainer.pl tool to figure out what people to send the patches to, and what mailing list (you can drop the linux-kernel list usually, and just stick with the subsystem list, if the output shows one.)
Should I put a Reviewed-by tag in the commits? I guess I have to ask the guy who reviewed them beforehand, right?
If someone reviewed them, and sent that line in the review, then yes, please add them and resend after a day or so. thanks, greg k-h
