Not able to find reference text for the latest linux kernel process scheduler

Hi, I have just begun studying the linux process scheduling and I find that most of the textsbooks are quiet outdated and the latest kernel codes do not match the text. How should I proceed further ? Thanks and Regards, Rohit Chourasia
