This looks like be a sys request from user space. Application can write echo u > /proc/sysrq-trigger to trigger an emergency remount.
You can hack "drivers/tty/sysrq.c" to print current task(to know who is doing).
Note that if it came in courtesy of alt-SYSRQ keyboard request, then current-> won't point anywhere meaningful.
