Patch(es) please, I know I am very wary of attachments in emails from developers I do not know. You can also provide URLs to git trees or locations where you have the userspace tools publicly posted. If patches and userspace tools are fairly large, it may be worth setting up a git tree on github (which is free) and post a link to your source on github. That may be the easiest for large projects.
