How to study linux kernel
hi Just downloaded linux3.4.2 and would like to study the code.Any ideas on where i can begin with.
To get a basic idea, start with Linux Kernel Development by Robert Love and keep referencing the relevant code sections. With that, you can then pick up Linux Device Drivers by Alessandro Rubini, Greg Kroah-Hartman to start writing your own kernel code in the form of modules. That should be a good enough start. Good luck! On Mon, Jul 2, 2012 at 4:27 PM, archie rombo <romboarchie@hotmail.com>wrote:
