While I never contributed in direct ways to the list, I did benefit from it, and those learnings came out in the code I created for my customers. I shall miss Valdis' emails: curt, funny, and to the point. Apparently I'm not worthy enough to be working with or on the kernel or it's drivers, as there are others with way more skill than I have that should be leading the charge. My years of working on Android, creating tablets, making IP phones, developing VR glasses, creating car infotainment systems, and just plain using Linux as my development environment were just silly endeavors on my part.</div>
