Because uid,gid and other parameters are given nfs, vfat file
systems. ext3 and ext4 file systems doesn't <br>
support this mount.<br>
This is my test log:<br>
$ sudo mount -o uid=500,gid=500 /dev/sdb1 /media/<br>
$ mount<br>
/dev/sdb1 on /media type vfat (rw,uid=500,gid=500) <br>
