how do i apply it directly to my branch without copying it ?<br>
<br></blockquote><div>Why is it important that you do not copy it?<br>I would prefer to get the git commit id from the branch and generate the patch from there.<br>generally you should apply patch with patch command, but I am not sure what are you trying to achieve here.<br>

I have tried git am and git mail-info, but i am not sure if I am using<br>
